【摘要】:Determiningthetensile-tearstrengthoflaboratoryandfieldsamplesofroofingmembranesshouldbeusefulindevelopingperformancecriteria,andasonebasisforcomparisonofdifferentmaterialsandsystems.Theeffectsoftemperature,moisture,andagingmaybeevaluatedbyappropriateselectionoffieldsamplesorconditioningoflaboratorysamples,andtestsmaybeconductedinanenvironmentalchamber.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetensile-tearstrengthofbituminousroofingmembranes.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
