【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheproceduretobeusedfordeterminingthewhitenessofpapersandboards,inordertoobtainvalueswhichcorrespondtothevisualappearanceofwhitepapersandboards,withorwithoutfluorescentwhiteningagents,whentheyareviewedindoors.Itisbasedonradiancefactordataobtainedoverthefullvisiblespectralrange(VIS)incontrasttothemeasurementofISObrightness,whichislimitedtotheblueregionofVIS.Inaddition,itspecifiesamethodforadjustmentoftheUV-contenttocorrespondtotheCIEilluminantC,sincetheresultsobtainedwhenfluorescentwhiteningagentsarepresentaredependentupontheUV-contentoftheradiationfallinguponthesample.TheCIEilluminationCistakentoberepresentativeofindoorilluminationconditionsbecauseitcontainsasuitableproportionofUV-radiation.Thismethodisnotapplicabletocolouredpaperscontainingfluorescentdyes.Itisspecificforthesituationwherethefluorescenceoccursintheblueregionofthevisiblespectralrange.ThisInternationalStandardshouldbereadinconjunctionwithISO2469.NOTE1ItisrecognizedthattheCIE-whitenessequationwasdevelopedinthecontextoftheCIEstandardilluminantD65[10],butthesimilaritybetweentherelativespectralpowercurvesfortheCandD65illuminantswithinthevisibleregionandtheclosenessoftheircorrelatedcolourtemperatures(6770Kand6500Krespectively)istakenasajustificationfortheuseoftheanalogouswhitenessequationwiththeCIEilluminantC.NOTE2ArelatedInternationalStandard,ISO11475specifiestheprocedureforobtainingvaluescorrespondingtotheappearanceofpapersviewedundertheCIEilluminantD65.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansforobtainingastandardroughnessindexusinggenericequipment.Thisparticulartestmethodissimplebutlabor-intensive,andismostappropriateforestablishingreferenceroughnesslevelsforalimitednumberoftestsites.Testsiteswhoseroughnessismeasuredwiththistestmethodcanbeusedtocalibrateresponse-typemeasuringsystems(seeTestMethodE1082).Suchsitescanalsobeusedtoverifyproperoperationofotherprofilemeasuringsystems,andtoestablishaccuracylevelsforotherprofilemeasuringsystems(seeTestMethodE950).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofalongitudinalprofileofatravelledsurfaceusingastaticlevelforthepurposeofobtainingaroadroughnessindex.Thistestmethodissuitableforallsurfacetypesthataretravelledbyconventionalgroundvehicles,includingpavedandunpavedroads.1.2Thistestmethodislabor-intensivewithrespecttoothermeansformeasuringlongitudinalprofile,andisusedmainlyfor(1)validatingotherprofile-measuringmethodsand(2)calibratingresponse-typeroughness-measuringsystems.Note18212;Whenmeasuringroadroughnesswithastaticlevelforthepurposesofvalidatingotherprofile-measuringmethodsorcalibratingresponse-typeroughness-measuringsystems,thestaticlevelmeasurementprocessshouldbeevaluatedtoensurethemeasurementsarewithintheresolutionrequiredin.Itisrecommendedthatseverallocationsbemarkedatvariousdistancesfromthelevelandtheselocationsbemeasuredinsequenceseveraltimestoestablishifthereadingsstaywithintheresolutionrequired.Wind,distancebetweentherodandthelevel,surfacetexture,andpositioningoftherodallhavesignificantimpactontherepeatabilityoftheelevationmeasurements.Anyvariationfromthetrueelevationswillprimarilyaffectthebiasasexplainedin.Todeterminetheeffectofrandomvariations,randomvariationscanbeaddedtoanexistingprofileandtheIRIrecalculatedtodeterminetheimpactofthevariations.1.3Thistestmethoddescribesthecomputationrequiredforoneparticulartypeofroughnessindex,thevehiclesimulationusedintheInternationalRoughnessIndex(IRI).Additionally,theprofileobtainedwiththistestmethodcanbeprocessedtoobtainotherroughnessmeasures.1.4Thistestmethodincludestwolevelsofaccuracythatcanbechosenaccordingtoneed.Themoreaccurate,designatedasClass1,reducesthemeasurementerroroftheroughnessindextolessthan2%ofthetruevalueoftheindex.Thesecond,designatedasClass2,involveserrorslessthan5%.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
