【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793establishesuniformrequirementsformeasuringthecut-offwavelengthofsingle-modeopticalfibre,therebyassistingintheinspectionoffibresandcablesforcommercialpurposes.Thisstandardgivesthemethodsformeasuringthecut-offwavelengthoffibreandcableTherearetwomethodsformeasuringcablecut-offwavelength,λcc:·MethodA:usinguncabledfibre;·MethodB:usingcabledfibre.Thereisonlyonemethod(MethodC)formeasuringfibrecut-offwavelength,λc.Thetestmethodinthisstandarddescribesproceduresfordeterminingthecut-offwavelengthofasamplefibreineitheranuncabledcondition(λc)orinacable(λcc).Threedefaultconfigurationsaregivenhere:anydifferentconfigurationwillbegiveninadetailspecification.TheseproceduresapplytoallcategoryBandCfibretypes(seeNormativereferences).Allmethodsrequireareferencemeasurement.Therearetworeference-scantechniques,eitherorbothofwhichmaybeusedwithallmethods:·bend-referencetechnique;·multimode-referencetechniqueusingcategoryA1multimodefibre.

【摘要】:Electricaldevicesthatcontainelectricalcontactsgenerallycontainsomecopper-basedmaterials.Atmosphericcorrosionofcopperpartsinsuchdevicesoftenoccursinserviceenvironments.Aquantitativemeasureoftheeffectofalaboratorycorrosiontestoncopperpermitsassessmentoftheseverityofthetest.Inaddition,corrosiontestsmaybedefinedintermsoftheireffectoncopper;thistestmethodprovidesawayofcomparingonetestagainstastandarddefinedelsewhere,orallowsacomparisonoftheperformanceofatestoveraperiodoftime.Althoughthistestmethodprovidesforarelativelysimplecheckofatest,theuserisadvisedthatadditionalanalysisofthetestchamberambientisgenerallyrequiredtoreproducetestconditions.Atmosphericcorrosiontestsareusedonavarietyofmaterialsbesidescopper.Careshouldbeexercisedindrawingconclusionsabouttheeffectsonsuchmaterialsofapparentlyequivalenttestsifthecompositionofgasesorexperimentalconditionsaredifferent.Theprimaryuseofthiscalibrationtestmethodistoassurecorrelationamongnominallyidenticaltests.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthecalibrationofatmosphericcorrosiontestchambersforelectricalcontactsthatproduceanadherentfilmofcorrosionproductoncopper,suchasatestcomprisedofamixtureofflowinggasesthatreactwithcopper.1.2Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletotestswherecorrosionproductsmayberemovedfromacoppersurfaceduringthetestbyfluids.1.3Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletotestswhereairbornesolidorliquidmaterialmaybedepositedonacoppersurfaceduringthetest,asinatestwhichincludesparticulatessuspendedintheatmosphere.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
