【摘要】:Thepurposeoftheseguidelinesis:—togiverecommendationsonhowtointroduceprecisionstatementsintoanInternationalStandardwhichspecifiesatestmethodforpaints,varnishes,relatedmaterialsandcoatingsderivedfromthem;—tooutlinethegeneralprinciplestobeappliedwhenassessingprecisioninordertoestablishtheprocedureswhichwillenableaquantitativeestimatetobemade;—tooutlinethegeneralprinciplesunderwhichinterlaboratorytrialsshouldbeconducted.Theseguidelinesmaybeappliedtopaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts,totheirrawmaterialsinsolid,liquidorpowderformandtocoatingsderivedfromthem.Theguidelinesareconcernedonlywithtestmethodswhichoperateonacontinuousscaletoyieldasinglenumericalfigureasthetestresult.However,thissinglefiguremaybetheoutcomeofacalculationfromasetofmeasurements.Thedistributionoftestresultsisrequiredtobeunimodalandisassumedtobenormal.Withnon-Gaussiandistributionsotherevaluationprocedureswillbenecessary.Itdoesnotcovermethodswhichyielddiscretevaluessuchasgono-gotestsorwherearankingschemeisinoperation.
