【摘要】:1ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthestorage,andinspectionduringstorage,ofvulcanizedrubber,whetherintheformofmaterialsorascomponentstobeusedforaerospacepurposes.Theserequirementsalsoapplytoitemsmadefromcellularrubber.2Therequirementsofthisstandarddonotapplytorubbercomponentscontainedwithinmechanicalassemblies,e.g.pumpsandvalves.NOTEInsuchcasestherecommendationsoftheassemblysupplierforexercisingtheassemblyandlifingoftherubberneedtobesoughtandapplied.3ThestorageperiodsquotedapplyonlyifthestorageconditionsspecifiedinAnnexAarecompliedwithandifthepackagingcompliesfromthedateofcurewiththerequirementsofBSF69,asfarasispracticable,makingallowanceforsubsequentmanufacturingoperations.4Thestorageperiodcomprisesthewholeperiodofexistenceoftherubberfromthedateofcure.Thisperiodwillgenerallybedividedbetweenmanufacturing(includingassembly)andstorage(e.g.inmanufacture,bystockists,byaircraftconstructorsandoperators)andthedivisionofthisperiodshouldbemutuallyagreedbetweentheinterestedparties.5TheserequirementsarebasedontheclassificationofrubbersintogroupsasdefinedinClause3.
